Backing up Your Computer

corsair_flash_voyagerWhile our equipment escaped the damage caused by the water flooding Studio 300, it could have been far worse. One tactic every computer user should take is to backup your important data files. A computer can easily be replaced, but your precious documents, pictures, home videos, music, and more are not so easily recovered if lost.

We suggest you make backing up your data a regular part of your computer use. The easiest method is to use external media such as a flash drive or an external hard drive. There are also on-line services available (usually for a fee).

Once you copy your files to another source, store that flash or external drive in another location away from your computer. This way if something happens to your computer, you can still access your one-of-a-kind files.
