For many people, Halloween is a favorite time of the year — that start of Fall, the ghouls, ghosts, and goblins all around, horror movies on TV, and the trick or treaters dressing up in their costumes. But you do not have to wait for October and Halloween to create monsters of your own using Adobe Photoshop.
Using the Photoshop software and a variety of images and textures, you can create several different spooky images. Photoshop is a great tool to use when you want to manipulate images as it allows you to use masks and blend modes to obtain your desired results. The three images below used very simple Photoshop techniques.
This week Studio 300 will be on hand at the Halloween Party: Movie & a Monster Makeover (see calendar for event details) scheduled for teens in the Vortex. Teens will have the opportunity to learn some simple Photoshop techniques and turn themselves into their favorite creature.
Here at Studio 300 we offer classes like Photoshop 101 & 102 that teach you the basics of Photoshop. We also offer Lynda.com for free which has further in-depth classes available. Also, the staff is ready to answer and help out with media challenges you face. Stop in to the studio and take advantage of all we have to offer.
