Dads and their daughters explored Studio 300 once again during our latest Digital Date Night. The evening was filled with fun as patrons played music, made videos, used our Carvey desktop fabricator, built and coded a robot, and so much more.
Head on over to our Flickr site to see the finished photos from this year’s Fountaindale Public Library annual program. You can download various sizes of these finished portraits from Flickr and share them however you wish.
At this year’s program, our Fountaindale Public Library patrons experimented with two different animation styles: cutout stop-motion and computer-based animation. Here are their completed animations made during the November 2018 Animation Bootcamp program in Studio 300.
Congratulations to the Bolingbrook Garden Club for taking the first place trophy (Amateur Built Float) at this year’s Pathways Parade. Members used Studio 300 technology to create several elements of their design.
Studio 300 kicked off this year’s Summer Camps for our Tween and Teen patrons with a Songwriting Workshop. The young patrons gathered for a creative collaboration in Studio 300. Together they selected a background music track, composed their melody, wrote their own lyrics, rehearsed the song, and then performed the track in one of our soundproof audio booths. Enjoy the results of their hard work:
Listen to fresh new music created by our very own Fountaindale Public Library patrons in Bolingbrook: Project Music. This special collection features only local content creators who share their music and more.
Our aim is to capture, curate, and share the knowledge and artistic creations that YOU produce and make them available to FPLD patrons through our local collection. Visit this link for details. To submit your own work to Bolingbrook: Project Music, visit this link.
